Expect a high-velocity collision of technical precision and total musical absurdity. This isn't your grandaddy’s prog; it’s a kitchen-sink orchestration of odd meters, jazz-infused detours, and lyrical left turns. The band is fully stoked to turn Via Chiesa, 9 into a playground for the avant-garde.

We are stocked to play The Crescendo Festival, a FREE music festival dedicated to progressive music genres (progressive rock, progressive metal, psychedelic rock) held annually in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, in the outskirts of Royan, since 1999. Bringing together artists from both the national and international scenes (from Sweden to Peru to the United States), and attracting around 1500 to 2000 spectators each night over three days, it is one of the most significant progressive music festivals in Europe!

We’re thrilled to announce that Half Past Four will take the stage at Terra Incognita Progressive Rock Festival in Quebec City! This celebration of adventurous sound and musical storytelling is the perfect home for our brand of eclectic progressive rock. On May 30, 2025 Toronto’s own Half Past Four—long revered for their genre-defying virtuosity and theatrical flair—are back with Finding Time, their first new album in almost a decade. This long-awaited release will be celebrated with a special vinyl launch at The Monarch Tavern, one of the city’s most iconic venues. Known for their kaleidoscopic blend of prog rock, jazz fusion, and avant-garde whimsy, Half Past Four have carved out a unique space in the Canadian music scene. Their previous album, Land of the Blind, was praised for its inventive compositions and dynamic range, drawing comparisons to the likes of King Crimson and Frank Zappa.
