“This five track release from the Canadian quintet manages the difficult achievement of being rooted in the archetypal styles of King Crimson and Yes while simultaneously sounding bang up-to-date. Like those fabled forebears, Half Past Four take a smorgasbord of styles, stuff them in a blender, then throw theresulting melange at the listener like an aural Jackson Pollock.... Land Of The Blind is one of those records where you never know what the band is going from one moment to another. An album of constant surprises, revealing new delights with each successive listen”

“…What is, as ever, immediately apparent is the sheer joie de vivre of the band, their energetic glee and clear belief in their quirky music. But don’t go thinking that it’s a difficult listen because it certainly isn’t. Vocalist Kyree Vibrant has one of the best and most versatile voices around, it draws you in and urges you to listen. Likewise the rest of the band, with a line-up stable from Good Things, have huge confidence in their abilities – justifiably so – and work together superbly as a unit.” - Jez Rowden

“As this absolutely jubilant and refreshing record comes to a close I just cannot help but smile. These are vistuoso musicians without a trace of smugness or superiority, they just play and sing for the love of the music and it shows, in spades. A joyous expression of love, hope and humour all rolled into an incredible package that you just can’t resist. I recommend plenty of albums but I’d prescribe this to everyone to save your sanity and give your life a boost of happiness and enjoyable irregularity.” - Martin Hutchinson
